Hot Hip-Hop Manteau Style
Ah, yes, a style after my own heart- a fuzzy faux fur grey jacket over a light grey tunic, jeans tucked into tall leather boots, and a HUGE black bag with gold chains. Not to mention that I love how the girl’s black hair is done in a glossy bob and lifted by the black scarf. I like dressing like this too, even though the “short jacket over manteau” look is a little weird, but in winter, I care more about comfort than fashion mostly, anyway! Truly a gangsta look!
Straight Outta the Red Movement 3
Here are 2 more absolutely stunning red movement girls– these 2 are more beautiful than many of the green movement girls taken together. I just love the look of the blonde on the left, probably due to the fact that her hairstyle is similar to mine. Her red scarf accentuates her bright red lipstick and dark eye make-up! Love the make-up on the redhead on the right, too! Democracy will be brought about by women that look like this, and no cowards will EVER stop anyone from being sexy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some Rather Strange Manteaus
These two manteaus are from artists’ photo shoots, so they are a little stranger than what I would usually post. I do apologize for the lack of hairstyle in the pic below, compared to what I usually post (damn “government” pics!!!), but I do like this manteau a lot….it is very inventive- a beautiful yellow tunic with an empire waist, which of course, emphasizes the chest area, puffy 3/4 length sleeves, and lots of pebbles to embroider the neckline!
And here’s a torso view of a cool brown silk manteau with a white pin dot pattern and three huge lace flowers at the neck. I’d actually wear this one myself (just like she does, over jeans) if I could find something like that!
Collar Snood
She is using her olive green sweater collar as a snood. I do this for fun sometimes (when no one sees, at home, of course!) with one of my long “sweater-dress” tunics, which has a huge cowl collar just like this! BTW, nice make-up.
Manteau Mood 11
This manteau style is so on point and gorgeous! This is very much my own style- look how tightly fitted the olive/brown tunic is to her body- the buttons are literally popping off! This is how you wear this kind of clothing- draw attention to all your curves! Tight jeans are rolled up at the ankles and worn with bright red sneakers to draw attention to the legs! And of course, the darker green loosely draped scarf (which I would wear around the shoulders) shows off a red-highlighted curly hairstyle! This entire outfit is the prime example of a sensual, stylish manteau outfit that I adore- it says “I love myself, I love showing off my body in a tasteful and sexy way, and you will enjoy it to the fullest!”. That’s how I do the style too!
We’re 1 Year Old!
1 year of amazing manteaus….who would’ve thought that in 2009, these clothes would become widely known worldwide as a symbol of resistance, defiance, democracy, and pride!!!!
In honor of this anniversary, here is a brand new manteau pic- this grey coat is a vintage-style classic for sure! I really like the flap closure and the striped inserts on the sleeves and hem- these details make what could have been a bland trench coat stand out! It is paired with jeans, black flat sandals and a loosely draped white block scarf (and a bit of a scowl..).
I will continue to bring kick-ass freedom-loving outfits daily as long as it is needed!
One luv,

“Fair Isle” Style Manteau
This is a pretty cool knit manteau with fringed edges, with its multi-colored stripes being very similar to the pattern known as the “Fair Isle cardigan”. There is a beige long-sleeve top worn underneath it and a dark blue scarf lightly wrapped to show off dark hair. Pretty interesting new pattern for manteau style that I have not seen before!
Manteau Mood 10
I really like this classic black-and-grey fitted tunic with 3.4 sleeves. And even though this pic was taken in 2003-04, 5-6 years before the green scarf gained its political symbolism, I still adore it (mainly because it’s filmy and light)! This outfit is designed to attract and hold male attention, and that means it’s a great manteau style outfit that achieves its beautiful purpose!
Straight Outta the Red Movement 2
I would love to see a full pic of her white manteau- it looks like a very classy and fitted one with gold buttons! Her scarf is an intricate purple, turquoise, and yellow silk one loosely draped over auburn hair! The girls in the red movement are as beautiful (if not more, sometimes) as those in the green movement, and their goals remain the same- advancing democracy and working to become free (and yes, free does and will forever mean SEXUALIZED!!!) women!
Beige Dress Manteau and a Lace See-Through Scarf!
This pic came from back in the day (2007-08, judging by the manteau) from Yahoo 360 and shows one of the most striking outfits! A grey-beige dress manteau with balloon sleeves and a fabric rose at the waist is worn with a COMPLETELY see-through, pushed all the way back, black, lace shawl! I love the tall blonde hairstyle highlighted by the flimsy shawl. This manteau style is defiant and stunning!
