Manteau with a DJ

Yes, this is a real photo, and it may equally likely be from a “sanctioned” event (such as European embassy parties) as much as from one of the legendary North Tehran/Lavasan underground parties. A beautiful girl in a classic black manteau much like my own, draped in a yellow and blue flower-printed pashmina, is posing next to a real DJ! Wonder if he is spinning some cool techno/house music? I wish this photo had a soundtrack!

Jaw Dropping Manteau Style 10

This picture, just like the previous one in this series, features soft black dress manteaus- a new must-have classic in this style! I love everything about this group- from the soft black scarves worn far back to show off blonde curls or long auburn tresses to the pink nail polish, from the undoubtedly yummy cappuccinos to the pearl bracelets and from the hug the lovers in the background proudly flaunt to the guy’s bright GREEN shirt! This is what the “Northern” style feels like- warm, friendly, classy, and free!

Jaw Dropping Manteau Style 9

This photo features two dress manteaus- a white one and a black one. Both are worn with matching open block scarves, showing off much hair, and heavy yet stylish make-up. Note the checkered purse on the girl in white- I have an Asian (no logo) bag exactly like this (not part of my manteau style, but rather hip-hop style). More very cool dress manteaus will be coming in this series of pics!

Cornrows, A Snood, and an Open Stomach

The rebelliousness and hotness of this outfit is scarcely matched in my collection. Her blond hair is braided into hip-hop cornrows, which are shown off by the pushed back black snood. The black manteau is 3/4-sleeved, exposing the arms, and hugs the body tightly. The lower buttons on the manteau are unbuttoned, exposing what seems to be an expanse of bare stomach! This is indeed how I like to wear my tunics here in the summer, with the top 2 and bottom 3 buttons open to show off the top I wear underneath, or sometimes, some midriff. For this girl, however, this is an important political gesture, and I am immensely proud of her!

Simple Orange Coat

This girl is buying books in a simple and classic deep orange tunic manteau- button-down and well-fitted, with 3/4 length sleeves and several pockets. No fancy detailing or strange cuts- just a basic wardrobe staple, albeit in a very interesting color. A black scarf is wrapped to show natural blond hair (a rare and cool occurrence), which adds to a very European look!

Green, Revealing, and Proud!

Recently, the well-known anti-green propaganda agency IWNA (about which I wrote at length here, here, here, and here) has been again spreading lies about green movement women. Thanks to Google Translate, I had access to this article, and despite the bad translation, the gist is clear- the sexy green girls were “paid $3000 by foreigners to come to the streets in revealing clothing, and this information was revealed from people arrested” (translation: the filthy IWNA just openly declared that they condone torture and the signing of false confessions!!!!!!). Guess what, IWNA? These girls are there because they love their country and want to see it become a free European superpower, while you want to desecrate it and turn it into the world’s decrepit cesspool- AND they love their bodies and want the whole world to admire then and enjoy them! BTW, I WISH I got paid to dress in a sexy manteau (instead of doing it for free) and rock green symbols every day- sadly, no one’s ever offered! As for your torturing, oppressive, inhuman beliefs, they will be buried underneath their own rubble!!!!!

Here they are, the green rebels that defied authority and wore the most revealing clothes! Any IWNA associates that come here- CHOKE ON IT!

Message to IWNA from a green girl- you know where you can go!

Jaw Dropping Manteau Style 8- the Gangsta Edition

I really love the photos where girls in manteaus flash hip-hop/gangsta signs because it affirms what I have always known- manteau culture and hip-hop culture are very similar. (Both defy an oppressive status quo and promote egalitarianism and personal freedom, whether in clothing or in beliefs.) The photo below is precisely one of those. It features a large group of girls in various manteaus (and two lucky guys!). The two most notable manteaus are in the foreground. One is a soft orange silk dress manteau worn by a beautiful blond girl in a white scarf thrown loosely over one shoulders. The other is worn by the gangsta girl, of course! Her dark red scarf is lifted by a heavy crown of hair, framing a tanned face. The manteau itself is made of soft white fabric and has wide sleeves that fan out in a bell shape from the middle of the forearm. This style of tunic would be amazing for a hot summer day- it seems to be very thin and comfortable. (P.S. The girl in the black scarf with the tall hairstyle, sitting next to the guy, seems to be making a hip-hop gesture too, but hers didn’t really work out…)

The Plaid Scarf- a Manteau Style Staple

Well, most of these photos are self-explanatory. The plaid Burberry pattern scarf, whether silk or wool, edged or not edged, in classic beige check or its pink, white, blue, and many more derivatives, is a glamorous British-inspired manteau style staple. I myself have a classic silk Burberry pattern Asian scarf which I wear around my shoulders all the time!

This is such a hot look, with a long forest green sweater manteau worn with a plaid silk scarf over rolled up jeans. I also adore the open scarf on the blonde wearing the super-short black silk tunic!

Here’s a silk one with blue edging worn with huge Jackie O style shades…

..and this one with red edging is worn with a stylish black manteau with an asymmetrical ruffled hem!

Just some classic Burberry silk scarves with black coats, much like I wear mine (on the shoulders)….

…and a wool version of it, worn with a short beige trench coat by an older lady.

The latest one is this wool fringed one, worn over a glamorous red hairstyle with a beige manteau.

And these are my two favorites because these were the first 2 manteau style pics I saw with this scarf (and the reason why I bought mine)!

Jaw Dropping Manteau Style 7

This photo features three different manteaus- one conventional short trench coat with white threading paired with wide-legged, floor-length beige pants and a white scarf tucked behind the ears so that a long dark hairstyle can flow down the chest, one asymmetrical black dress manteau worn with fitted jeans, high heels, and a black pushed back scarf, and my personal favorite, an olive green, soft shirt manteau worn with a thin, narrow, matching color scarf, beige pants, and flat sandals. All three look great, however!

Jaw Dropping Manteau Style 6

Well, the coats here are both basic and classic black- one worn with black pants and boots, the other worn with beige pants and Converse shoes. The cool thing here – the scarves! Both are wrapped in such a way that the white scarf on the right forms a large oval exposing all of the neck and chest and the dark blue one on the left is lifted by the girl’s auburn hair into a tall. glorious crown!
