The following photos take you into a brief journey through some classic North Tehran haunts. First, let’s begin with a photo at the vegetable market in Tajrish, where you can see a nice beige manteau and a loosely draped white scarf on the girl taking the photo….and plaid, grey, and black coats on the girls in the picture itself.
The classic “leafy Northern street” (possibly Valiasr???) is displayed in its full glory here…and I am loving the black diaphanous flower-print manteau in the foreground!
Another classic summer scene- girls in navy blue, brown, and beige manteaus eatunbg ice cream in the park- perfect!
And of course, I am loving the black coat worn open over a white top and super-skinny jeans. Note the keds and the open scarf – brings back that 2005 vintage feel.
